great gift ideas

with my niece turning one and her birthday party finally here!! (due to the rain on the day it was planned it was pushed back 2 weeks) i thought of sweetest gift for both mommy and baby but being that my week was so crazy i have wait to get it in the mail (yes, my gift will be late but we have a back up gift) but i thought i'd share with you and maybe it might help others who are stuck trying to find the right gift for that little one....

current obsession

lately since i have to budget myself i've been finding things i can cut off on my weekly/monthly habits like manicures because it is a lot cheaper to buy the polish and paint them yourself(yes, the first time around it may seem expensive but it's cheaper in the long run)....time consuming but its worth the relaxation of it. i usually put my ear phones on and paint away. here are some of my colors i've just picked up. the "wooden shoe like to know" is my favorite so far...but i have 11 more to try on.

tonight's dinner

yesterday was monday MADNESS with me going to bed at 7:30 or so from the longest monday ever... when i had so many things to do around the house that had rolled over from sunday. today was a long day for both me and my loved ones so when i have a long day, i love to cook up something good. i put all my heart and soul into food which i can't complain in this department.... i cooked some breaded fish and sauté veggies. i love to try something new and serve it with love because after a full day of work, homework with our son, pick up after everyone's stuff to sit and enjoy a great meal in the best thing about my day.

sex and the city sunday's...

i usually clean my heart out on saturday morning so that saturday evening and sunday day i'm lounging around the house but instead i waited for today! before i even attempted to clean i went out for some errands and found a cute sweater with my mom at old navy even though summer's around the corner it was a must have for me. i am on a strict budget so i have to make due with what i have....which now i have to get creative and make it work like tim gunn says. once i got back and start cleaning i decide to make it a marathon of sex and the city... i can never get tried of these ladies....and started to think of outfits for my new sweater. i pulled out some elizabeth and james shoes and a million different ideas came from this, i can't wait to wear it. check it out below my new sweater with my heels

new beginnings
